It's Yours to Give
"Freely ye have received, freely give." This is the true spirit of Christianity. The blessings we receive from the Lord we are expected to share.
Sharing with others should be one of the main by-products of your personal Bible study program—and when you share a blessing you will often find it challenges your own life even more. So as the Lord reveals new truths or personal applications, make it a point to pass them on to others as soon as possible. The Holy Spirit will frequently use a fresh blessing to challenge or encourage another Christian or to awaken an unbeliever to his need of Christ. Pray for opportunities.

Along with passing on what you've received from the Word, you will probably want to share the benefits of Studies in Christian Living by getting others started. Ask the Lord to direct you in helping someone begin to study Book 1, New Life in Christ. Or perhaps there are several in your area who would like to study together. As you introduce someone else to this course, explain what Bible study has meant to you and why it is valuable. Help the person get a good start by doing the first two or three questions with him. Then meet him in a few days and go over the completed chapter together.
When you finish Growing in Service, you will be ready for the new type of study introduced in Books 7 through 9. These studies are designed to help you learn how to study a chapter verse by verse, understand what it says, and make personal application of its teachings to your life. In these next three booklets you will study I Thessalonians, I John and Philippians, a chapter at a time, making your own analysis and personally applying the truths you discover.
